Store samples in the Danish National Biobank

The Danish National Biobank offers storage at -20 °C, -80 °C and in liquid nitrogen tanks at -196 °C

Sample types such as serum, plasma, buffy coat, whole blood and DNA can be stored in our automated freezing units, allowing for easy overview and access.

Storage prices are listed in DKK per year and ex VAT. Cost for registration and handling are not included (832,- per hour). The automated systems are more expensive than the manual when it comes to storage, but are cheaper and faster in uptake and retrieval of samples (to view retrieval prices, go to Our samples).
