As a reseracher you can apply for access 12+ million biological samples stored in the Danish National Biobank (DNB). You can also search the Danish Biobank Register for samples available both in the DNB and in other Danish biobanks.

The DNB stores more than 12 million biological samples collected through the Danish Health Services as well as in a range of research projects. As a researcher you can apply for access to these samples for specific research projects. 

In addition, the DNB displays aggregated information about more than 27 million biological samples in the Danish Biobank Registry. These samples are available from the DNB and other Danish biobanks.

The DNB also offers to store samples that you have already collected or wish to collect in cooperation with us. 

In all, the DNB offers to receive, handle, store, analyse and hand out biological samples. This means that we are able to support your research project whether you need access to already existing samples or wish to collect samples yourself.
